"My darkroom is my bathroom, I have it rigged so I can develop on a Jobo and silver print on my old Leitz Valoy. It is very important to me to develop and print my own film."

"Sometimes photographs happen that are so off the wall that it makes me question whether or not the camera is a device that captures reality."

John Battaglia

Street Photogrpher

Brooklyn-based, street photographer, John Battaglia, collects people. Well, he at least takes pictures of them. John’s work is a photographic anthology of the stresses and celebrations of city living as he takes the viewer on an endless adventure down alleyways, around street corners, and below the city streets. Having traveled to Chicago, London, Dublin, Paris, and St. Petersburg, just to name a few, John’s photographs are nothing short of a spectacular depiction of the complex structure of the human condition.
